The search for a new councilor in Mapleton is underway.
The seat in the chamber became open after Martin Tamlyn resigned who took a new job as Climate Change Coordinator with Centre Wellington which does not allow him to hold office.
A deadline for applications has been set for November 4th with a vacancy vote taking place on November 12th.
The new councilor will be sworn in on November 26th.
