As school will be back in session there is still a shortage in school bus drivers across the province.
School Bus Ontario is calling on the Ford government to look into the issue of the busing contract bid system.
The group says bus contracts are awarded to operators who put in the lowest bids which affects the drivers pay.
School Bus Ontario has proposed many ideas to rework the system such as getting a third party to set the wage and rates for local industries based on economic conditions.
