In a storyline similar to the recent one out of Blyth, a Brockton resident lost $20,000 to scammers claiming to work with an established tech company.
South Bruce OPP report a victim gave the suspect remote access to their computer where the suspect completed several fraudulent banking transactions.
The OPP warns modern scammers have the ability to create very convincing schemes, often copying the name of a legitimate company.
