UPDATE: The girl has been located as of this afternoon safe. They thank the public’s assistance in the case.
The Saugeen Shores Police service are asking the public’s help in locating a missing youth from Southampton.
15 year old Meagan Jeffrey was last seen there on December 6th when she had made plans to stay at a friends house.
It is suspects that she left her friend’s house and may be in Owen Sound or Wiarton. Police were contacted on December 7th when Meagan failed to return home.
Meaghan is described as a 15 year old indigenous female, 5 foot 3 and 120 pounds with long brown hair and brown eyes. Meaghan was last seen wearing blue jeans, a burgundy sweatshirt, light brown socks and a black and burgundy backpack.
She could be wearing glasses.
