For the first time this week it’s pretty much smooth sailing on the roadways.
Highway 23 which has been closed since Monday afternoon reopened partially late Wednesday morning before opening up later in the afternoon.
Crews continue to be out to clear up any remaining snow and ice but as winds begin to level out, blowing and drifting snow conditions have calmed down.
