Huron Perth Public Health issued a release from Ritz Lutheran Villa today that updated the status of the Covid-19 outbreak declared by HPPH on Saturday, March 27th.
Surveillance testing on residents, staff and essential caregivers had returned one positive result in a fully vaccinated resident who did not have symptoms.
Subsequent testing came back negative. Further testing of residents, staff and Essential Caregivers at the home also came back negative.
Outbreak measures remain in place as a precaution. Provided there are no additional cases or probable cases, the outbreak status will be discontinued after Sunday April 4th, 2021.
