15 provincial offences officers travelled to the area and conducted a Covid-19 workplace safety campaign in Huron Perth recently.
They visited 137 big-box and essential businesses including grocery stores, gas stations, convenience and agricultural supply stores.
They found 65% compliance. 7 tickets were issued and 9 occupational health and safety orders.
The most common contravention found was that a business did not have a safety plan. Other most common contraventions were related to the capacity limits and screening of employees and patrons.
