Randy Pettapiece “Very Concerning” Regarding Caressant Care Outbreak

MPP has written a letter to the Minister of Long-Term Care and the Minister of Seniors and Accessibility.

Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece issued a statement regarding the current outbreak at Caressant Care Arthur and Caressant Care Listowel.

“The outbreaks at Caressant Care Arthur and Caressant Care Listowel are very concerning. I was very sad to hear about the loss of life. I am also thinking of the residents and staff who are sick and their families.“ said Pettapiece.

Pettapiece says he’s in contact with officials leading the response and his staff have spoken with loved ones in the affected homes, offering support in anyway possible.

Pettapiece has written a letter to the Minister of Long-Term Care and the Minister of Seniors and Accessibility. Urging them to make all necessary resources available to address the current situation.

He also commended the great effort both Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph and Huron-Perth Public Health are doing to contain the outbreak. Pettapiece also applauds the work from hospital officials and staff at Caressant Care for the work they do under difficult circumstances.

“I will continue to do everything I can to support these homes and all homes in Perth-Wellington.”
