Huron Perth Public Health has announced COVID-19 vaccine booking will open soon for children six months to five years of age.
Parents and caregivers will be able to book an appointment starting on Thursday July 28th.
Dr. Miriam Klassen, Huron Perths Medical Officer of Health saying in a release most children who contract COVID-19 have mild illness but some can get very sick and need to be hospitalized and vaccination is the best defense against severe outcomes of COVID-19.
Clinics will be held starting July 29th specifically for children aged six months to under 5 years.
Clinic dates and locations will be available on public heaths website.
