The Huron Perth Public Health Unit is looking for a dog that was involved in a biting incident in Listowel on Saturday evening around 7:30 pm.
The incident took place at the intersection of Boyne Avenue & Ann Street and the dog involved is described as a dalmatian.
At the time it was being walked on a leash by an older male.
HPPH says it is investigating to verify the dog is up-to-date on its rabies vaccination.
If not found, the person bitten may need to complete a series of rabies shots.
