Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health has issued a health alert after discovering light blue/green fentanyl.
Substances have been found across the Guelph area much more than usual with 9 reported substance related poisonings since October 1st.
The suspected substance found as light green or blue in colour is a mix of fentanyl and an unidentified substance.
Public health is urging extreme caution when using unregulated drugs as the current supply could be more potent than usual.
