Public Complaint Leads to Impaired Driving Charge

Huron County OPP have charged a Bluewater resident with Impaired Operation following a complaint from a citizen.

On December 7th at around 4:30pm, Huron OPP received information from a concerned citizen who observed a vehicle being drive by a female they believed had been drinking alcohol.

Officers patrolled the area and found the suspect vehicle where they displayed signs of impairment.

The driver was arrested and taken into custody for breath tests where it was found to be 3 times over the legal limit.

As a result a 66 year old from Bluewater was charged with Impaired Operation.

The accused license was suspended for 90 days with a future court date in Goderich.
