More than $4.59 million in provincial funding is being provided for local hospitals.
Perth-Wellington MPP Matthew Rae says the funds are coming from Ontario’s Surgical Recovery Fund and will help improve wait times and provide care closer to home.
Funding was done through two application based funding streams.
The Listowel Memorial Hospital will see $11,352, Stratford General Hospital will benefit from $74,612, Groves Memorial Hospital will get $55,800 and North Wellington Healthcare will see $13,176.
