A boost to the Listowel-Wingham Family Health Team will mean 2000 more residents across Perth and Huron Counties will have access to primary healthcare.
A provincial investment of $822,604 has been given to the health team to expand services.
The money will go towards the Mobile Primary Care Clinic Team which combines eight family health teams and community health centre in the Perth-Huron area.
The team offers preventative care, care navigation and chronic disease management.
