Some of the provinces top doctors are calling on the provincial government to impose tougher restrictions in hotspots and impose a stay-at-home order to address the surge of COVID-19 cases.
The call is hit areas of Toronto, Peel and Ottawa which were made by the regions top doctors in a letter to Dr. David Williams.
They are calling on the government to impose travel restrictions between the regions and for the province to provide paid sick days to those without work throughout the lockdown.
