Earlier this year, Braemar Nursing Home in Wingham announced it would close a part of its home on May 15th to begin expanding into a 96 bed facility.
An announcement from the province on March 19th brought great news for Braemar by covering costs for beds and upgraded spaces. The Ontario government has invested $933 million into 80 long-term care projects, including the redevelopment at Braemar.
The support from the province will allow Braemar to expand to 96 beds and keep a bright future ahead.
