The province QR Scan for proof of vaccination is now in effect.
Businesses will now have a scan system to verify a visitors vaccination status with residents having access to their code from their mobile device.
Those who haven’t yet gotten their code can do so from the Ontario website and retrieve their information.
Businesses last week were allowed to download the Verify Ontario app which will scan QR codes on the enhanced certificates which will show one of three findings when a code is scanned.
Verified for being fully vaccinated, invalid if a person is partially vaccinated or has not waited 14 days since their 2nd dose or problem, when the code scanned cannot be recognized.
