The provincial government is making an investment in local hospitals in Huron County.
$3,161,330 is being put forward to help five hospitals across the county to address infrastructure repairs and ensure people can continue to get get access to the care they need close to home.
The Seaforth Community Hospital will see the bulk of the funding of $1,018,569, the Clinton Public Hospital will see $627,467 with the Wingham and District Hospital getting $775,562.
The funding will help address needs such as upgrading or replacing roofs, windows, security and fire alarm systems and emergency generators to ensure people can continue to get care in safe, modern facilities.
