The Provincial Government announced today a limit to increases in WSIB premiums due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Minister for Labour, Training and Skills Development Monte McNaughton announced that Bill 238 was signed into law today that safeguards employers with a 2 percent cap on increases in WSIB premiums.
It doesn’t limit the 7.8 increase to maximum earnings workers are due for workplace injury or occupational diseases.
