Province announces joint construction training partnership

Program will provide training for residents of Huron, Perth, Grey and Bruce Counties

 

Perth Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece announced today a new training partnership to ensure there is ample training for jobs in the construction sector.

They announced it in cooperation with the Four County Labour Market Planning board in effort for residents to match up with local employers.

The SkillsAdvance Ontario project will be delivered with a combination of online and in-person training and will involve Labourers International Local 1059.

Placements will be provided in Huron, Perth, Grey and Bruce Counties.

The program was announced as part of the 2021 Provincial Budget.
