The province is confirming it will be investing more than $700 million to provide retention payments of up to $5000 to eligible nurses in the province.
Last month the Ontario Nurses Association confirmed with Premier Doug Ford and the union negotiated a good faith retention bonus for all front line nurses in publicly funded facilities.
The province announced it will be investing to provide the payments to be broken in two installments.
