The OLG announced today new legislation is coming into effect that will expand what services they can offer to their customers.
As of August 27th customers of OLG will be permitted to place single event sports wagers across the province.
Previously gamblers were only able to bet on sports through parlay betting of 3 to 6 sporting events.
The move by the OLG is seen as them trying to complete with offshore sportsbooks that aren’t regulated by Canadian law.
