Erin Fire and Emergency Services are making big investments in firefighter safety with a $36,224 Protection Grant from the province.
This funding will support the purchase of enhanced personal protective equipment and an extractor which is a specialized piece of equipment designed to clean and decontaminate firefighter clothing and gear.
Ted Michael, Erin Fire Chief and Director of Emergency Services says as a fully volunteer fire service, investments such as this have a direct and meaningful impact on members and the community.
