Investigation is underway to find those who tore down the Pride Flag which was flying at Listowel District Secondary School.
The school writing over social media, the flag was taken down Sunday night with video footage of the incident being captured.
The Pride Flag has since been hoisted on the flag pole and is flying again.
The Avon Maitland District School Board says they are committed to fostering a learning environment which celebrates, supports, respects, values and embraces all forms of diversity.
