Premier Doug Ford is under fire from some regarding comments he made during yesterdays update.
Ford while addressing a shortage of workers across the province made comments saying those who don’t want to work and collect income are not welcome in the province.
“You come here like every other new Canadian has come here, you work your tail off. If you think you’re coming to collect the dole and sit around, not going to happen. We have so much work we can’t keep up with it.” said Ford.
Opposition has called Ford’s comments disappointing.
Ontario Liberal Leader Steven Del Duca says Ford should apologize for his comments.
