You’ll want to get ready for a provincial election as its expected Premier Doug Ford will be making that call next Wednesday.
A senior provincial government source says Ford will call the snap election next week with voting set for February 27th.
Ford has been long hinting about a provincial election saying he needed a strong mandate against US President Donald Trump’s threat of a 25 per cent tariff on Canadian goods which could come into effect by February 1st.
Ford has said Trump’s tariffs could cost around 500,000 Ontario jobs.
