“Get your brain scanned.” Those were the words from Ontario Premier Doug Ford after being asked about a large nighttime car show this past weekend in Ancaster. The Premier showed clear signs of frustration after telling the public to cut out social gatherings, that many more are doing otherwise.
“I don’t get it. I just don’t get it.” The Premier said. “If we weren’t so backlogged on MRI’s, I’d send you to the MRI to get your brain scanned because I just don’t think anything is in there. We have protocols out there and they just ignore the people.”
The comments came right after Ontario reported its worst day of new COVID-19 cases in over 3 months and after social gathering limits were severely reduced.
