A positive case of COVID-19 was reported Thursday night from the Grey Bruce Health Unit from someone who attends Sacred Heart Highschool in Walkerton.
The health unit would not disclose if the case came from a student or facility and cannot declare an outbreak as its only one case nor was the virus transmitted at the school. The health unit is working to reach out to close contacts. If you are not contacted from the unit, there is no risk to your health.
The school will remain open and buses will run as normal.
