Police seeking suspect after robbery in Listowel

Suspect stole a scooter valued at $200

 

The Perth County OPP are seeking a suspect and witnesses after a robbery in North Perth.

On Wednesday, April 28th just after 9:30 pm the Perth County OPP received a report of a robbery that had just occurred at the Listowel Memorial Park on Royal Street East in Listowel.

The suspect had assaulted 2 youths and stole a backpack and two scooters. There was no weapon used in the robbery, and the victims were not injured.

The backpack and one scooter were recovered.

The outstanding scooter is described as a Kick TFOX SIG scooter with a dark green deck, black and green handle bars, with black wheels. It is valued at $200.

The suspect fled the park on foot with the scooter. The suspect is described as:

  • Male
  • Caucasian
  • 140-160lbs
  • Medium build
  • Wearing a grey or black hoodie sweater
  • Dark scruffy facial hair
  • With a black eye
