OPP have provided more information regarding a plane crash in Huron East on Saturday.
Police responded to the scene just after 11:20am with Huron East Fire and Huron County Paramedics after a pilot had crash landed in a farm field near Newry Road.
The pilot tried landing on a grass runway in a nearby field and was unable to stop before crossing Newry Road, impacting the ground on the other side of the roadway.
Police initially believed there was three other passengers on board with the pilot but learned the individuals were good Samaritans who stopped to help the pilot.
The 68 year old pilot from Central Huron was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
