Police are looking into an incidents which occurred on Friday at the Elora Rocks hockey game.
A statement from the Ontario Super Hockey League writes they were made aware of the incident involving OSHL Director and Stratford Head Coach and General Manager Jamie Petre and Coach of the Elora Rocks Rich Wigmore with the league saying they accepted Jamie’s resignation.
The rocks issuing a statement saying Rich is okay and extending their thanks to fans, players and volunteers who helped deescalate the situation.
In a reply over social media, the Elora Rocks would not share what occurred due to police investigating the matter and cannot comment further.
OPP have not issued a statement on the incident.
