Police looking for Public’s Help in Assault at Residence in Palmerston Saturday Night

Initial reports indicate a verbal altercation in the parking lot of a business on Main Street in Palmerston where victims then followed to their residence. Driver of the vehicle assaulted three adult victims with a noxious substance.

The Wellington County OPP is asking for the public’s help as it investigates an assault that occurred at a residence on Victoria Street in Palmerston Saturday night.

Officers were called to the site at approximately 6 pm to an incident that occurred in front of the home.

Initial reports indicated there was a verbal altercation in the parking lot of a business on Main Street in Palmerston between the victims and unknown persons in a vehicle who then followed them to their residence.

A physical altercation ensued, and the driver of the vehicle assaulted the three adult victims with a noxious substance.

The vehicle is described as a black, newer model four-door Dodge Charger or Challenger with tinted windows and 5 occupants – four males and one female.

The driver is described as male, Caucasian, 25-35 years old, tall, thin build with brown hair wearing a black baseball cap, sunglasses, a dark coloured t-shirt and black shorts.

The three males were described as Caucasian, and the female was described as Caucasian with tattoos on her arms.

The Wellington County OPP is asking anyone in the area to review their video surveillance for footage of this vehicle.
