Perth County OPP is investigating incidents of theft after road signs were stolen in West Perth and Perth East.
The signs stolen consist of 911 emergency numbers, street signs, Stop Ahead signs and bridge markers.
Police say the theft of any sign is a serious matter, but add that traffic signs give important information about law, warn about dangerous conditions and help you find your way.
Police want to remind everyone, that the act of theft of a sign is not only unsafe, but also a criminal offence.
Anyone with information about these incidents are asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
