Perth County charge 37-year-old female from Huron East after investigating a fraud that occurred in Mitchell over the course of a year.
Police were contacted on May 22nd by a local sports team who became aware of suspicious activity involving a bank account operated by their organization.
It was determined that over $40,000 was removed fraudulently from the account. As a result, the accused is facing charged of fraud over $5,000.
The accused is set to appear before a Stratford Court on August 28th to answer or the charge.
