Pierre Poilievre will take the stage for the Conservatives in the next federal election.
Poilievre was announced as the next leader for the Conservatives who secured the win taking 68.15 per cent of the vote which saw record voting of more than 400,000 being cast before the deadline.
Jean Charest placed second at 16.07 per cent, Leslyn Lewis followed behind at 9.69 per cent, Roman Barber at fourth with 5.03 per cent and Scott Aitchison at 1.06.
Poilievre was widely supported by fellow MP’s who was backed by 62 of 118 members.
