The government of Ontario is providing over $4 million in funding for Perth and Wellington County for vulnerable people across the area.
In a release, MPP Randy Pettapiece saying the funding will greatly benefit the those most in need in every part of Perth-Wellington.
Wellington County will be receiving $3,242,700 with Stratford set to receive $1,331,000. Stratford administers social services funding on behalf of Perth County.
Pettapiece adding large cities are not the only ones who need to tackle homelessness and poverty saying the funding will be critical to provide services in both Wellington and Perth County.
This is part of a larger investment of $307 million throughout the province through the Social Services Relief Fund.
