Perth-Wellington is seeing a boost in public transit funding.
MPP Matthew Rae says $882,866 is being dished out to support rural public transportation through the 2025-26 Gas Tax program.
This funding will be used to expand service hours, increase routes, purchase new vehicles and improve accessibility to increase transit ridership.
Funding amounts as provided by the Ministry of Transportation:

The province is putting over $380 million in 107 municipalities across Ontario to improve local transit through the Gas Tax program.
