MPP for Perth-Wellington Randy Pettapiece said in a press release this afternoon that the Fall Economic Statement addresses many of Ontario’s challenges. It outlines a strong plan to protect the Province’s progress, fund critical sectors and allow the communities in Perth-Wellington to emerge stronger than ever.

The Fall Economic Statement includes, Pettapiece says, $2 billion inn expansion over 5 years of the OCIF program for municipalities, $4 billion over 6 years to expand access to reliable high-speed internet by 2025, $3.7 billion to build 10,000 new LTC beds and upgrade 12,000 and $270 million through the Ontario Staycation Tax Credit to support Ontario’s Tourism Industry.

Pettapiece says he’s pleased that Ontario’s most recent fiscal updated address many of the challenges in the key sectors and municipalities face throughout Perth-Wellington.
