Earlier today the Leader of the Federal Conservative Party Erin O’Toole announced changes to the Official Opposition Shadow Cabinet.
Perth-Wellington Member of Parliament John Nater has been named Shadow Minister for Middle Class Prosperity. Nater succeeds O’Toole himself who had personally served in this role since September 2020.
Nater says that now more than ever Canadians are worried about their economic future. He continues that the pandemic has seen far too many Canadians fall behind. He hopes economic recovery will be recovery for all sectors in all regions.
In the months to come Nater looks forward to hearing from Canadians across the country on ideas and suggestions to secure a comprehensive economic recovery for our economy.
He reassures that his number one priority will be the residents of Perth-Wellington. He says his new responsibilities will not distract from his efforts to ensure concerns of the areas are heard in Ottawa.
