Perth-Wellington MP John Nater shared a touching tribute to Town of Minto Mayor George Bridge in a social media post last Friday.
In it Nater said that Bridge hosted his 12th and final Charity Golf Tournament recently and this year’s worthy recipients of the funds raised were Minto Pride, Harriston Rising, All About Palmerston and Clifford Connects.
This year’s event raised over $100,000 for community groups and projects.
He closes the post by saying in honour of his commitment to building a strong and vibrant community he was presented with a Queen’s Platinum Jubilee pin.
