From June 26, 2021 to July 4, 2021 members of the Perth County OPP participating in a Canada Day Traffic Initiative.
The campaign involved proactive enforcement of the Big 4 driving offences of Aggressive driving/speeding, impaired driving, distracted driving and seatbelt usage throughout Perth County.
Perth County OPP laid over 160 charges during the initiative include:
- 130 for Speeding
- 4 for Failing to properly wear a seatbelt
- 2 for Stunt Driving
- 1 for Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle
- 1 for Distracted Driving
- 25 for Other Provincial Charges
