The Perth East & West Perth Fire Departments took to social media to share the success they saw at Women in Trades Day on May 28th.
The departments say that in conjunction with the Huron Perth Catholic District School Board and the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program they held a day filled with hands on learning, new experiences and opportunities and community connection at St. Michael Catholic Secondary in Stratford.
They added that the amazing group of young women learned about careers in the fire service, from Public Education, to prevention & enforcement and fire fighting and emergency response.
