The Perth East West Perth Fire Department shared a video on Social Media today as part of Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week.
In it they say that Carbon Monoxide Alarms should be installed outside sleeping areas if you have a fuel burning appliance, fireplace or attached garage.
They advise that carbon monoxide will impact your children and pets first, putting them at the highest risk of sickness.
Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless, tasteless highly poisonous and flammable gas.
