The Township of Perth East announced today that it will be holding a grand opening for the newly constructed Perth East Recreation Complex Park Pavilion tomorrow, Wednesday August 24th at 10:30 am, at the Pavilion at 40 Temperance Street in Milverton.
The venue located at the centre of the PERC property will provide a community gathering place and includes universal washrooms and a kitchenette.
The site has been used to date for such things as family gatherings, picnics, fundraising BBQs, seniors yoga classes, hobby shows, engagement parties, swim meet and event venue for the Dusty Nostril bike road race.
The project cost approximately $480,000 and was funded through an Infrastructure grant from both the Federal and Provincial Governments and a gracious donation from Bill Gies.
