Perth County OPP have released the details from their Thanksgiving Long Weekend Safety Campaign.
Police were out in increased presence from October 7th to the 10th with a focus on the “Big 4” of serious collisions on OPP roadways.
The issues include Impaired Driving, Aggressive Driving, Distracted and Failure to Wear a Seat Belt. OPP laid a total of 139 charges with 93 speeding, 3 seat belts, 2 stunt driving and 2 impaired driving.
Police continue to maintain roads with their yearly campaign theme “Safer You, Safer Me.”
