On October 12th just after 12am, a Perth County OPP officer was on patrol in the Township of Perth East when they conducted a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle.
During investigation an Approved Screening Device was used and as a result, the driver was arrested and taken to a local detachment for further tests.
As a result a 25 year old from Stratford has been charged with Operation While Impaired Blood Alcohol Concentration 80 plus.
Their license was suspended for 90 days and 7 day vehicle impoundment.
The accused was released and will appear in court at a later date.
