Perth County has taken the next step on its new Official Plan for the year with the launch of the public engagement process.
The official plan helps determine how land uses will be managed in the county including agriculture, settlement area growth, housing, employment and natural environment conservation.
The draft official plan applies to all lands with the county with residents being invited to provide their thoughts on the plan.
Andrea Hachler, Manager of Planning says this phase offers the public the chance to stay informed, provide their input and ask questions.
A public meeting on the official plan will be held in Listowel at the Steve Kerr on February 8th from 4:30-8:30pm.
A virtual option for the official plan is also available during an open house in West Perth on the 7th.
