Perth County’s Geographic Information Systems Team has launched its newest road map for the fall.
The new map features road networks across the county with locations of important infrastructure such as hospitals, municipal offices and more.
Over the summer, County council moved to amend the fees and charges bylaw to remove the $5 fee which use to be charged for maps to residents in the past.
Copies of the map locally can be found at the municipal office in Listowel.
GIS Coordinator Gary White says these maps are an important tool to understanding the geography of the region and their team regularly is asked for maps such as this.
