In the span of just 18 hours, around 3500 appointments have been booked for a COVID-19 vaccine in Huron-Perth since the announcement of the expansion of the phase 1 rollout.
In a way to assist those in getting to and from their appointments, Perth County council is considering using PC Connect transit to get those to their appointments.
Certain stops for PC Connect don’t include around areas where vaccination clinics are set up such as the Rotary Clinic in Stratford.
A letter has been sent to Maggie Martin, Coordinator for PC Connect to see if this can be done and will be discussed at a future council meeting.
Listowel’s COVID-19 vaccination clinic will take place at the Steve Kerr Memorial Complex on March 18th.
