Perth County Council has approved the 2025 budget in principle.
The budget is an increase of $2,910,397 from last year and the amount represents an additional $103.32 annually per household which equals out to $1.99 per week.
The budget represents a total 11.34% increase to the annual budget.
Director of Finance, Corey Bridges says there is no doubt inflation has a significant impact on this budget year and has reached into aspect of our lives.
A bylaw will be brought to the next county council meeting to complete the 2025 budget process.
